Michaela Wallace – Youtube Sensation
The Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend EP

A talented singer and multi-instrumentalist, 14 year-old Michaela Wallace came to Sorted Noise to write and record an EP. After sitting down with veteran writers Deanna Harper and Paul Alan, the three penned the pop hit “Justin Bieber’s Girlfiend” by combining Michaela’s pop-culture influences with Sorted Noise’s suggested marketing tactic of crafting a song based around a highly searchable term. Sorted Noise recorded the undeniably catchy track, and, paired with a tween-centric tongue and cheek video, the song was off to the races.

One feature on Yahoo’s home page and over 2 million youtube views later, the song and accompanying video have launched Michaela into the mainstream, including interviews on MTV, E! Entertainment, features on Access Hollywood, and even a tweet by the human barometer of popularity – Ryan Seacrest. Michaela’s star continues to rise at a staggering rate and Sorted Noise looks forward to the continued success of this burgeoning pop sensation.
