Artists We’ve Worked With

Our “collective of creators” is made up of a wide ranging pool of amazingly talented artists and top tier content.  This is our creative incubator, and it provides a safe environment for the artist and Sorted Noise to vet each other while trying to create a spark worth fanning.  Each relationship is unique, ranging from simply writing and recording, to creating custom content for a movie, TV show, or brand, to full on management and career development.

 

THE CO

As Sorted Noise’s first signed artist, we enjoy a deep and wide ranging partnership with The CO.  It’s been a fun journey so far.  Recently, they’ve been named ABC Family’s “Artist on the Rise,” had a Youtube video with over 1 million views, a song chart at #1 on itunes Germany, multiple songs featured in TV and film, and a song as the featured download during the America Music Awards broadcast.

And we’re just getting started.

Johnny Cash

There is, and was, only one Cash.  Through our partnership with Sun Records and Sam Phillips Publishing, Sorted Noise continues to build the “man in black’s” iconic brand by representing Cash’s masters and publishing for film, TV, advertising, and beyond.

Michaela Wallace

Michaela took the online world by storm with her song and video for “Justin Bieber’s Girlfriend.”  Sorted Noise produced the song and helped develop the strategic plan for the “JBG” campaign that garnered over 2 million views on Youtube, appearances on MTV and Showbiz Tonight, a featured story on the front page of Yahoo.com, and a tweet by Ryan Seacrest.

Julie Roberts

After 6 years on Universal Records, a top 20 country hit (“Break Down Here”), and over a million records sold, Julie decided to try things without the help of a major label.  Sorted Noise has played a role in writing, production, as well as licensing for film, TV, and advertising.

Native Run

the next “it” pop / country duo in Nashville

 Since hitting the Nashville scene in 2012, Native Run has jumped to the top of every Music Row executives “wanted” list.  Through our partnership with legendary entertainment attorney, Jim Zumwalt, we were introduced to the duo and hit it off from the start.  We’ve been writing and recording with the group ever since.  Watch out for these guys.

Ellis Paul

 Ellis is one of the last true troubadours.  After 7 records on Rounder Records, he came to Sorted Noise to produce is first independent release since leaving the label.  The record has taken on a life of its on, with the Farrelly brothers using 8 songs to score their #1 box office smash Hall Pass.

Michael Castro

After a stint on season 8 of American Idol, Sorted Noise produced Michael’s first and second releases ever.  The first debuting at #2 on itunes singer / songwriter chart, with the second coming in at #5.

Secrets in Stereo

Secrets in Stereo is one of the most licensed indie artists of all time, with over 150 placements in TV, film, advertising, trailers, and games.  Sorted Noise has produced all, and co-written most, of the 28 song SIS catalog.
